FAQs
How many articles can I read for free?
We currently offer five articles a month. After you’ve read three articles, you must register with your email in order to read two more articles.
How do I subscribe to Blue Tent?
When you’ve run out of free articles, you will hit the paywall curtain and be prompted to subscribe. You can also click here and subscribe today.
I’m already a member. How do I login?
Click the login link in the upper right corner of the site and enter your email and password. You can also login in at the bottom of the paywall curtain.
How do I view or change my account information?
When you are logged in, click on my account in the upper right-hand corner of the site. Click it to view and change your account information.
How do I reset my password?
If you can’t remember your password, click Login in the upper right-hand of the website then click the link next to “I forgot my password” at the bottom of the form. Important note: the password reset link is not working for all subscribers. If you don't receive a reset email, please contact us at support@bluetent.us and we will send you one.
I didn’t receive the link to reset my password
If you’re not seeing an email with your reset link, check your promotions and spam folders. Keep in mind that the password reset email can take up to 10 minutes to get to your inbox. If you don't receive a reset email, please contact us at support@bluetent.us and we will send you one.
Why is my email not being recognized?
If your email isn't recognized by the system when you're logging in, double-check to make sure you are using the email you signed up with. See if you can locate the original confirmation of your subscription by searching your inbox.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Login in to your account and then click on the account indicator in the lower right section of the website. Under Subscriptions, click Unsubscribe. You will continue to have access until your subscription expires. To cancel, you can also email us at support@bluetent.us.
My subscription was accidentally renewed. How do I get a refund?
Write to us at support@bluetent.us and we will issue a refund back to the credit charge you used.
How do I change the credit card on my account?
Go to your account page and click the Update button under your payment information.
How do I get a receipt?
Email us at support@bluetent.us and we will send you a receipt.
Do you offer institutional memberships?
Each subscription is good for one user. If you wish to buy an institutional membership with multiple users, please contact support@bluetent.us.
Do you offer free or discounted subscriptions?
Yes. Blue Tent provides discounted or complimentary access to individuals and organizations who cannot afford our regular price, including students. We also provide temporary access to journalists and to individuals and organizations that Blue Tent has written about. We make these decisions on a case-by-case basis. Please email your request for support@bluetent.us.
Can I Pay by Check or Other Means?
If you want to pay by check, ACH, or wire transfer, please email us at support@bluetent.us. We'll send you an invoice and establish an account once we receive payment.
